Somewhere in the BIOS. Normally under "Security" or "boot" you find: "Secure
boot". Set this to "Disabled". Save and exit BIOS.
Now tap continuously on Boot Menu key until you see the Boot Menu.
Choose "UEFI Name of usb-drive/whatever"
When presented with an image of a lady on a weird horse - press Enter
on "Kjartans Pissekule Puppy Linux !"
On older machines
(without UEFI) download k-pup64mbr.iso
and use Rufus
to make a bootable usb flash drive and boot from it.
Additional info:
Yes. Some weird icons and colors eh?
I know ! But I like it like this - anyway, I did something cheeky. But
because of that - if you install a .pet/app
it will not show up in the menu. Long story - just do this:
Click file - up arrow and go into: /etc/xdg/templates
Right click _root_my-documents_.jwmrc and
rename it to: _root_.jwmrc
Thats it. |
